Scar Sheet - Molnlycke (Mepiform) 4x30cm

Ingredients:

The scar removal patch is composed of a thin layer containing soft silicone gel (polyurethane and non-woven fabric), utilizing the patented Safetac® technology.

Function:

Clinical evidence shows that 100% of users have personally witnessed Mepiform® effectively smoothing, lightening, and softening scars. It is thin and breathable, only 0.3mm thick, keeping the skin dry and comfortable. It is waterproof, convenient, and durable, suitable for use after various surgeries and cesarean sections.

Directions:

1. Cut to the desired shape and size, ensuring the patch covers at least 2cm beyond the wound.

2.After removing the protective film, apply it to the dry and clean scar.

3.For the first 2 days, use Mepiform® for 4 hours daily; for the next 2 days, use it for 8 hours daily, then increase by 2 hours daily until using it for at least 12 hours daily.

4.It can be used continuously for 24 hours, with only one observation and cleaning of the scar area daily.

5.The patch can be reused for up to 7 days or until the adhesive weakens.

6.If necessary, gently rinse the patch with clean water, let it air dry, and then reapply it to the scar.

Precautions:

1. Do not use the gel sheet on open wounds. If a wound develops in your scar, remove the gel sheet and keep it safe until the wound heals.

2. You are recommended to use it for 90 days as initial treatment period. However, you may be advised to continue to use it for longer than this depending on the appearance and age of the scar.
